Can we start agent matching on one campaign or team?
You can: the Order Form covers all your campaigns or only the ones you list. But the $15,000 Floor Assessment fee is the same however many campaigns are included, and a campaign added later needs its own Order Form and its own $15,000 Floor Assessment, so most agencies are better off listing every campaign at the start.

What the Order Form says about scope
The Order Form has a line for campaigns in scope. It reads "all campaigns, or those Customer lists here", so you can name one campaign, several, or the whole floor. Four points follow from the same document:
- The fee does not change with scope. The $15,000 Floor Assessment fee is the same however many campaigns are included, for every campaign and agent listed, up to 500 agents.
- Everything listed is assessed together. The fee covers one assessment: one data delivery, one report and one readout.
- Later additions need their own Order Form. Any campaign, team, site or business unit not listed at signing needs a new Order Form before it is assessed or moves to Stage 2. BestPair has an Additional Campaign Order Form for this.
- The Stage 2 minimum covers the whole scope. In live pairing the fee is the greater of 10% of the extra and $2,500 a month, whether one campaign is in scope or five.
So the scope decision is worth making before you sign. Listing a second campaign at the start does not raise the Floor Assessment fee. Adding it later means another Order Form and another $15,000 assessment, with its own credit; one $2,500 monthly minimum still covers every campaign. So put in every campaign you might want. What you sign, and in what order.
What makes a good first campaign
If you start with one, choose the campaign the Floor Assessment can read most clearly. From the approved data list and the fit criteria, that is a campaign with:
- History you can export. Call records and payments, up to 24 months, with the collector recorded on every call and the calls that did not pay kept alongside those that did. The four files.
- Several collectors on the same kind of account. Pairing changes which collector works each account, so it needs collectors who could each have taken the same accounts.
- Account details on every account. At least a balance, its age and a state.
- Room in conversion. A campaign where most right-party contacts end without a payment or an arrangement. Where 60% or more already end in one, there is little for pairing to move.
- A dialer that can take assignments. In Stage 2, assignments arrive as a daily file loaded like your lists, or as segments for your dialer’s own skills-based routing. Which dialers work with pairing.
Leave out a campaign that is mid-migration, newly won, or about to change its contact rules. Its history will not describe the weeks you test it in. Waiting for a dialer migration.
What one campaign can and cannot show
A Floor Assessment on one campaign tells you about that campaign. Its estimated opportunity is worked out from that campaign’s own history, shown as a range, and the Order Form calls it an estimate from past data, not a forecast or a guarantee. It does not predict what another campaign with different paper and different collectors would show.
Size matters once pairing is live. Stage 2 is scored every month on dollars collected per account contacted, for the BestPair group and the control group. A small campaign puts fewer contacts behind each group’s figure, so a few payments move it more and the monthly comparison takes longer to settle. Why live pairing can trail at first.
Adding a campaign later
When a first campaign has run and you want to add another, it goes on an Additional Campaign Order Form, with its own $15,000 Floor Assessment fee and credit. The new campaign is assessed on its own history before it moves to Stage 2, and its year-long term runs from its own Stage 2 start.
On every campaign in scope, the rule is the same. BestPair changes only which agent works an account. It does not contact consumers, and it does not change whether an account is worked, what a consumer is offered, or any collection terms.
The fit call is where to test a specific campaign against the points above.
Common follow-up questions
Can we start with one team instead of one campaign?
The Order Form lists the campaigns in scope and the agents on them. A team, site or business unit that is not listed needs a new Order Form before it is assessed or moves to Stage 2. Whether one team makes a sound start depends on the same things as a campaign: its history, and how many of its collectors work the same kind of account.
How many collectors does the first campaign need?
The Order Form sets no minimum per campaign, and BestPair works with floors of 25 or more agents. What matters is that several collectors work the same kind of account, so there is a spread between them to measure, and that their calls and payments are recorded. The Floor Assessment says on your own data whether there is enough.
Is a large floor priced differently?
The fee covers every campaign and agent listed, up to 500 agents, assessed together in one Floor Assessment. A larger floor is quoted before signature.
Do the same campaigns move to live pairing?
Yes. In Stage 2 the accounts in scope are split at random: 80% are allocated by BestPair and 20% stay on your current routing as the control group. A campaign that was not assessed cannot move to Stage 2 until it has its own Order Form and assessment.
