How long from sending our data to the first results?
The Floor Assessment report is due four weeks after the Data Received Date, the day BestPair confirms in writing that your files are complete, and files are checked within two business days of upload. Live pairing (Stage 2) starts on the first day of the month after the readout, and both groups’ results are on every monthly invoice from then on. BestPair does not promise when a gain will show.

Two clocks, two kinds of result
The first result is a report. The Floor Assessment (Stage 1) runs on your own history, and nothing changes on your floor while it runs: no accounts are rerouted. The second result is live. In Stage 2 BestPair assigns accounts to collectors and the result is measured against a control group, month by month. The two run one after the other, and each has its own starting point. The two stages, and a sample report.
Clock one: from your files to the report
| Step | When |
|---|---|
| Order Form signed | The Effective Date. The readout meeting is booked at signing |
| Floor Assessment fee | Invoiced on the Effective Date, due within seven days, and paid before any data moves |
| Files sent | By encrypted SFTP to a folder BestPair provides, never by email. Up to 24 months of history |
| File checks | Within two business days of upload. IDs must join across files, the full period you hold must be covered, and no direct identifiers may be present |
| Data Received Date | The day BestPair confirms in writing that the data is complete |
| Report | Due four weeks after the Data Received Date, followed by the readout |
The report’s four weeks count from the Data Received Date, so a file that fails a check holds that date until the corrected file arrives. If a file contains something BestPair did not ask for, such as names or phone numbers, BestPair deletes the upload and asks you to resend it without them. The full file list.
What moves the date
The Standard Terms ask the agency to provide the data accurately and on time, and to answer reasonable data questions within two business days. Delivery dates move by the length of any delay caused on the agency’s side. The parts your team controls:
- A named data contact. The Order Form asks for one person who can answer data questions within two business days. Choose someone who has time in the weeks after signing.
- The exports themselves. Calls, payments, agents and accounts, plus your outcome code list. Whoever runs your dialer and collection system reports can usually say how long these take to pull.
- IDs that join. The same account ID and agent ID in every file, so calls, payments and account details line up.
- The fee invoice. No data moves until it is paid.
Clock two: live results
Stage 2 starts on the first day of the month after the readout, unless your agency opts out in writing within ten business days of the readout. No further signature is needed. From then on accounts in scope are split at random: 80% follow BestPair’s assignments and 20% stay on your current routing as the control group. BestPair works from daily data feeds and sends back a daily assignment file, or segments for your dialer’s own skills-based routing.
Each month both groups are scored on dollars collected per account contacted. Stage 2 is invoiced monthly in arrears, and both groups’ results are on every invoice. The model is updated weekly in the first couple of weeks, then about once a month.
When a gain shows
BestPair does not promise when a gain will show, or that it will. The first weeks of any live test are noisy. Fewer calls may reach the assigned collector while the floor gets used to the assignments, small samples swing on a few payments, and arrangements often pay weeks after the call. Judge live pairing on full months with adherence at or above the 70% minimum. Why live pairing can trail at first.
If the lift is small or zero, your agency pays only the $2,500 monthly minimum, and it can end Stage 2 at any time in its first 90 days with 30 days’ written notice.
Common follow-up questions
Can the report arrive sooner than four weeks?
The Order Form sets the report at four weeks from the Data Received Date. What your agency controls is the time before that date: files that pass the checks the first time, and a data contact who answers questions quickly.
When is the readout booked?
When the Order Form is signed, so the date is in diaries before any data moves. If a delay on the agency’s side holds up the data, the Standard Terms move delivery dates by the length of that delay.
When does the first live result arrive?
Stage 2 fees are invoiced monthly in arrears, and both groups’ results are shown on every invoice. The first invoice covers the first month of Stage 2, so that is the first live comparison you see.

If your shop does not qualify, you will hear it on the call, not after you have paid for a report.
