On your floor
"Our agents turn over": how new hires are handled
For: Operations
Every collection floor has turnover. BestPair is built with that in mind.
A new collector has no history for the model to learn from, so BestPair treats them as floor average. They get a normal mix of accounts, not the leftovers nobody else wanted. As their calls and payments build up, the model learns where they do well and their assignments start to reflect it.
Each daily assignment also names backup collectors, for when the assigned collector isn't available.
The Floor Assessment report can also show where new hires do best on your floor, so you can start them on the accounts where the gap between new and experienced collectors is smallest. That's useful whether or not you go ahead with BestPair.
If turnover on your floor is high, tell us on the call. It changes how we set things up.
More on the floor side: what changes for your collectors.
